Default Cabela's Prestige Line

i purchased cabela's prestige plus line, a wf5f, at 85 feet i think. works
great for me. i imagine i'm losing a bit when compared to a scientifc
anglers ast trout line, but that's ok for me right now. completely
ridiculous i know, but at the time, late last year, it had two of the most
important factors for me. 1) relatively inexpensive and 2) came in that cool
flourescent green color. and then there was always the off-hand chance it
was made of or came from similar stock as some of the higher priced lines...

those lower end lines from cabelas must be REALLY short. no way would i
normally cast 85 feet... ;-)

Thanks to both, some good info there. I'm leaning towards the higher
end cabela's ones, not sure who's making those for them.

If I were you, I'd run on down to Fins and Feathers on 19th and check
out the Orvis Bar Stock reel before buying a "higher end" Cabela's.
Damn good reel for the money and you'll be able to see it in person.

No, not billings, but Bozeman

Well, hello there neighbor.

Thanks, good advice, and I'll definitely do that, see what's
available. Need some waders and boot replacement anyway, so we'll see
if we can support the local economy.

Thanks a lot,

KD
