Hi, I just came across a Cortland "Climax" flyline. How do they compare with the "444", are they as good, worse, anybody used one? Not listed on the Cortland website. Must be some ancient or fake product. Joel Axelrad **DFD** |

Or not a Cortland product: http://www.climaxusa.com/Fly_Lines.html Its affiliated with Cortland if not fully owned. IIRC they were acquired by Cortland about 5 years ago. Here's a link to Cortland's outlet store where they sell products from there own line and the lines of their affiliates: http://www.cortlandline.com/factorys...=category&id=1 I remember because at the time my favorite tippet materials were Cortland Presentation and Climax and when I read about the merger in a flyfishing rag I was left wondering which of my favorites would disappear. g.c. Who now uses the German made Cortland 333 tippet material so it no longer makes any difference. |
