I found a stretch of water below Fisherman's Paradise that was deserted, except
for a few anglers far downstream. Vince, what the hell did you do -- shoot 'em all? Nope! I'm innnocent! Innocent, I tell ya! This early in the spring, especially on cool days during the week, it's not extraordinary to find Spring Crick uncrowded. Steve usually fishes on Tuesdays, his "day off" at the shop. The day he's discussing was probably the 23rd. The high that day was 48. I don't see too many other guys on the steram when it's 48 or less. (I realize that up there in the sub-Arctic, where the temp never even reaches 48, you guys are tougher than we are.) vince |
