Sir, you have a product. You have a Web site. Can you pronounce
"Duoh"? While I, personally, do not use finger, whois, and DNS, a
site is very easy to track for anyone who knows the music to which I
only know the words. Don't challenge these guys. Some of them
believe that being cruel to be kind works. Others are just nasty.
Some of us kill and eat what we catch in the water. Makes us feisty.

I doubt anyone here will actually try to hack your site, as that would
be marginally illegal, though, in face of your repeated SPAM and
challenge, I'd not consider it immoral. Some may report you to eBay,
some to AOL, some to whomever.

And no one you've SPAMmed here will buy your product. It's
salespersons and customer relations people like you who cause so many
small businesses to fail.

But if you think your ISP is not easily found, I'd bet a nickel (even
a shiny new one) that someone here could have it within an hour while
hardly bothering to work at it. I won't even mention how amusing it
would be to see contact information.

You would be out a nickel and your hacker friends would find themselves one
unsuccessful and two in trouble for trying, so save the tough talk for a
newbie.

Well, more appropriate than you know. I'd get rid of that link - it contains a
trojan virus.

Okay, one, its not illegal, its public record. Two, your domain IP resolves
to 69.56.164.46, which is hosted by:
The Planet Internet Services, Inc.
1333 Stemmons Frwy., Suite 110
Dallas, Texas 75207

whose abuse email is or phone (800) 854-7679 toll free
Oh, by the way, the acceptable use policy is at:
http://www.theplanet.com/aup/ You are in violation of that. They have been
notified.

You registered your domain via GO DADDY SOFTWARE, INC. and it expires on 9
Aug 2004.
Is there anything else I can tell you? After you lose your ISP, just
consider this a lesson and move on.

But you didn't give his contact information, Frank. Nice of you not
to give his name and address and phone number. You're so sweet and
kindly. You might want to keep it handy, in case...

That would be bad juju and unethical, especially if it was handed off, in
multple forms, to the spammers listings (multiple times). But then again, I
do have a code of conduct to adhere to
(https://www.isc2.org/cgi/content.cgi?category=12), and I am serious about
that. In all honesty, I may be able to tell the addy of the account that
sent out the missives, but I could not verify the individual. If it is a
group account, I would have to rely on linguistic analysis to nail it down
to one individual (used to do that for a living). He (white male, early to
mid twenties) is not worth the effort.
