I keep all my messages sent. I can't find were I ever posted this question.
If you can send me a copy I'll stand corrected. Even so maybe there would be someone new who would appreciate your expert opinions on flyline dressing?? That is why I posted the question to begin with and I did get a reply or two from several thoughtful enough to respond kindly. Thanks wrote in message ... wrote in message ... What line dressing do you use?? I have used Scientific Anglers for several years with success. Thanks MIKE Most of us probably use the same thing we used back in April of last year when you posted this almost exact same question..... --riverman |

Well....I would think (I may be wrong) that "Flyline Dressing" is a floatant
and that Flyline Cleaner and lubricant is just that. A material that cleans and also lubricates the line thru the ferrals making casting easier, not necessarily aiding in floatation.... Please clarify this for me and others that might be are interested. Thanks MIKE "Charlie Choc" wrote in message ... On Mon, 10 May 2004 13:50:39 -0500, wrote: I have record of that. I think you said you use the SA "dressing", which claims that it "contains the same advanced lubricants used in the coating of our lines for a slick, long-lasting coating" and "includes one Scientific Anglers cleaning pad". Do you have examples of dressing that don't clean or lubricate, or cleaners and lubricants that don't leave the line "dressed"? -- Charlie... |
