...What is it that I am supposed to believe again?

That you will, one day.....oh, say in twenty-five years or so....wonder how
life might have been different if your daughter had been raised by an adult.

Wolfgang
to whom it probably won't make much difference.

If, in the future, there's ever a doubt about what a jerk Wolfgang
can be in this forum one need only reference this gem to remove it.

Hm.......good point. I hadn't really thought about it, but you're
right.......a concern for the welfare of children IS rather crass.

Wolfgang
who will try to become indifferent in the future, but makes no
promises.

Who prays for a shotgun season on this island for deer. Now I mostly
just shoot them on the ass with a BB gun because the *******s just
love to munch little apple trees.

In NY, that's considered hunting. Worse, it's hunting using a non-approved
implement. Big fine, if caught.

Clarification: I said I shoot them ON the ass, not IN the ass. That NY law
is just amazing. Here in Washington its perfectly OK to shoot a deer with a
BB gun while riding a mule. Just shows you how diverse this country is.

From the DEC hunting regulations:

"To hunt—means to pursue, shoot, kill or capture (other than trap)
wildlife and includes all lesser acts that disturb or worry wildlife
whether or not they result in taking. Hunting also includes all acts to
assist another person in taking wildlife."

You could be tossing water balloons at deer in NY, and it would still be
hunting. Shooting a BB at deer asses definately qualifies.
