Friday looks like the day that these guys will come out. Since I've
gotten no offers of moose, elk, bear, or other dead flesh for the
Hungarian Barley Stew on Tuesday, I've decided that cicadas might be the
main protein ingredient.

Uh, I previously offered some venison. I have both ground and
otherwise, possibly including one whole loin (have to check the
freezer). How much do you need?

About 6lb of whole meat (not ground). I'll cut if you bring it. Thanks.

OK. I've got half a loin, 2 'fish' and two steaks left. Total weight
is about 2.5 lbs. The only other venison in my freezer is ground. You
are welcome to all of it. If no else has aything, I may be able to get
some from an uncle or something.

Tom,
Not to worry. I've offered Frank some 1 inch thick Whitetail ham steaks
he can cut up to augment. I got two reasonable deer last year so
there's plenty left for the wife and me.
