You betcha. For several years I've been wanting the Cumberland River below
Nashville (I guess you might properly say 67-mile-long Cheatham Lake extends up through Nashville, but it's more like a flowing river most of the time). I just never made the time. That's one of the problems living here in Tennessee... there are just too many lakes, ponds, and prime rivers crying out "fish me... fish me...." I try, but I can't satisfy them all.
