Don't worry about it. Just don't ever top-post or bring family into it. :-)

Bill,

Just got back from fliefishin in Pensylvana. It was a good time 'cept fer
all the idiots...which was everyone but me of course. I didn't want to
offend the arrogant sob's i was with, so i left the mepp's at home, but I
probably would have catched more fish that way. Caught tons of fish
anyways -- boy they sure tasted real good. I don't go messin' with any
fancy cookin....just throw the slimy bastids on the coals til they look
done; the ashes are easy enough to cut around. Hell, with so many trout,
you can waste a lot of 'em and still have plenty left over.

Anyhoo, I gots plenty of beers left over, swing on by an well drain a few.

Nice photos, John - thanks. Several of them show roffians in waders

without
belts, and I wondered if the offenders g can answer why they would go

wading
without one? Is it a comfort thing, or just a what-the-hell thing?

In my case, it was a why-the-hell-did-I-forget-them thing...

TL,
Tim
who has not yet dipped the top of his waders below the waterline, but is
convinced it would happen immediately if he went without a belt.

For some, the belts are used as the situation warrants. Others go through a
rather involved process known as 'girth expansion.'

In this manner, the waders are quite nicely filled and belts are
unnecessary!

. . . I usually leave my belt loose ( for comfort) unless I am in water
with a pretty good current.

Many of the river bottoms and banks in the Penns area are quite slippery, which
would certainly be a reason for me to wear one.

I prefer "svelte challenged".

Water is like Jello, and there's always room for jello.

Again, since I've not yet raised the water level above the top of my waders,
this is just conjecture, but I just have a feeling the current would get
instantly stronger after filling said waders with water.
