So what happened during the week?

Thank you all for a great time.

Roger,

You forgot to name the individual responsible for comparing Australians to
yoghurt. Unfavourably, it is probably needless to add. Just curious, you
understand, should I ever happen see them wading deep in fast
water...................

Vaughan Australians to yoghurt.

What's wrong with yoghurt? ;-)

BTW, hi Vaughan. Haven't seen you posting many messages, but sort of
assumed you'd be lurking in the background. And so it seems to be.

Only, what, 9 1/2 weeks until you meet your Oban. And it's at least
one year older than its label says.

Hi Jarmo,

No I have not been paying much attention to the group for a while but after
hearing from Roger about his trip I looked in. I am looking forward to
August as well - but I am more than mildly surprised the Oban has survived
the winter. You are Finnish, right?? :-) Bring it along, I am sure we can do
some damage to it.

Finns prefer it _raw_.

I just realized that we might meet even earlier if that Ransaran thing
is still on the menu.

it was I, so come on over to Penn's and we'll drink to the ROFFian who first
relayed it here online. My lips are sealed.

Maybe next year, it sounds like fun, and the irony of an American accusing
ANYONE of lacking culture did not escape me :-)

Vaughan

now that I think of it I seem to recall a similar joke being told to me by
a Canadian

Tim Lysyk was the one ...

[stern look]

Steve

(well, as stern as one can get with a 21st to attend, a surf outing
to have and weekend to boot! Cripes... hmm ... must buy a bucket :-)
