news:zpHuc.8765$Tw.176@lakeread06... ... i just completed an avis SUV rental through hotwire for the 7th thru 17th... cost was 560. it was the cheapest i could get. travelocity and expedia and orbitz were all over 650 bucks when i checked. joe is gonna be ****ed... you even catch the best deals mike... cancel the reservation if you can... I'm coming into Jackson Hole but I assume it can't be too much different. I bid $29 a day for and got it first shot (after reading some advice from fellow travelers at this BB: http://pub210.ezboard.com/bpricelineandexpediabidding). The reservation is for Alamo. We could also split one rental too if you can find transportation until we cross paths. we haven't forged our plans for the first 2 days yet. check out the northern routes above the park... It would take me a day to get up there, but maybe I could do Idaho and the Grand Tetons on the way back... The Finn |

It would take me a day to get up there, but maybe I could do Idaho and the Grand Tetons on the way back... probably best to figure a way for us to meet up with you somewhere convenient for both of us... we won't be far from west yellowstone side of idaho, western entrance park streams, henrys fork... also some of the northern park areas. i'm unfamiliar with north sections, but maybe warren or rw can help us with a realistic plan. jeff The Finn |
