I fish 4 and 6 inch plastics mostly and have never fished a large
sized worm. Ronnie Garrison asked about big worms of 10 inches or
more and so have many others. What size of soft plastic bait do you
use most often and what is the biggest. What colors?

thanks,

gil

I'll tell you what Jeff, your CoolLures are no slouch around a boat dock either. I made some
awfully nice catches this fall using your lures.

I've caught a few big smallmouth bass on ten inch worms. You know the feeling
no tug just a sure and steady take away of the line then responding with a
hookset and all hell breaks loose. Using ten inch worms assures a sizeable fish
for the taking.

Personaly my favorites are the finesse baits. But who can argue with what
catches fish? I should send you a few of the 8"ers that I have.

Hey John,
Does your son do any guiding? I am going to San Diego in February to visit
my Marine son and want to wet a line. I was doing a little google search and
came up with this as well. All I can say is..........WOW!!

I have used every size and color I think they make...love them
plastics. One of my favorites is something they use to call the "Otay
Special", 12" long, cinnamon color with a black stripe down each
side...looked like a baby snake. It was also in a chocolate color....I
killed the California bass with those things!

Joe, John and Mike take people out sometimes, mostly the sports figures
that enjoy a day on the water, but he doesn't guide. I am going out
there in late February or March, if the dates line up maybe we can get
together.....

If you do, take an extra day to come back through Yuma.

I can always use an excuse to get out on the river.

Bob, if my schedule works out right, you can count on it....it would
keep me from going back through Vegas, and that would be a "good" thing!
