crap on the newsgroup

I guess I will have to quit trying to read this newsgroup. I just checked it
out and there was one post about a traveling vise. 4 links to some porno crap
and 2 posts about some nut's resume. Too much crap to put up with for the one
post about fly tying.

ROFFT is consistently on-topic, almost totally free of SPAM, and the
newsgroup least likely of any unmoderated Usenet newsgroup I have ever
encountered to devolve into flames, ****ing contests and chaos. In
short, if you feel the need to whine about THIS newsgroup, you'd be
doing all of us a favor if you just gave up on Usenet altogether.

Not to mention the eight posts about someone who doesn't think it's worth
reading this newsgroup any longer. Oops - now it's nine.

C'mon, Dale. You know I have a great deal of respect for your talents,
abilities, and knowledge when it comes to tying, but you just need to look past
the other stuff on Usenet. Nobody in this group has the ability to stop it from
happening anyway. I believe the guy's resume post was an error on his part and
that he probably meant to email it somewhere, but posted it here instead. The
porn-link posts are everywhere on Usenet, and I've seen far fewer here than
other places.

You really should take some time and learn how to use your newsreader filters.

Well, it showed up on ROFF and rec.skiing.backcountry as well, and those are
just the ones I happen to read. He might have spammed it elsewhere too.
