You don't seem too pleased?

One of the drawbacks of living in this area is that spring seldom lasts more
than one week. Then it is time to spend most of the time in the
air-conditioning.for the next five or six months.

Looking at various pics also reminded me of the other thing
about the fur - the subtle sheen of the natural material.

I suspect the Usual (classic) would be to dries as the
Hare's Ear is to nymphs.

Maybe back East but in the Rockies, I don't think I've ever come across
an angler using one.

Locale?

Around Dallas. This year has been pretty mild. It has not reached 100 yet. some
years we have three weeks of that before June. I try to escape by going to the
Rockies sometime in August. Price of gas may prevent that this year.

Lagomorph:
Any member of the mammalian order Lagomorpha, a terrestrial group that
includes the relatively well-known rabbits and hares and also the less
frequently encountered pikas...distinguished from rodents by having
two pairs of upper incisors specialized for gnawing.

Well FWIW, Petrol/Gas prices haven't reached the claimed/expected heights
here in Aus. and the crude price is falling. Fingers crossed.

That's because your country doesn't make deals with the Saudi's to cut
production for a few months, and then raise production just before an
election.
