Only rarely fished the Norfolk coast though, and that was a long time ago, so perhaps someone local would be able to advise you better on choice of venues. I'd guess that the whiting would be starting to make an appearance about now on night tides (they're already showing further north, together with a few early codling) with the fishing picking up after the big tides at the end of the month. The codling (what there are of them anyway) probably a bit later, and not worth targetting till the back end of October, unless sea conditions are very good. Cheers Ian D |
