They are very nice for cold moving water in larger streams and rivers like
when you are fishing trout, steelhead and salmon.

They have 15' tips normally and are great for situations where that length
is needed.

They have nice welded loops now with 5 each 15' tips.

You get a 15' floating tip, 15' clear slow sinking tip, 15' type 3 tip and
15' type 6 tip and now a 15' type 8 tip.

We add in a longer tip to the mix like a Rio 'Big Boy' 24' 200 grains for
getting a little deeper at times.

They come designed for single handed rods (line size 4 through 10) as well
as double handed (Spey) rods.

They are not designed for all fly fishing applications.

Seriously, one of the most fascinating things about flyfishing (fresh
and salt) is the sometimes overwhelming variety situations one confronts.
