2:30-5:30.. Less people, early start on the fish.
Christopher "alwaysfishking" wrote in message news ![]() 2:30 a.m- 5:30 a.m or 5:30 a.m- 8:a.m The reason I ask is, I was at the lake at 5:30 this morning and prior to it getting light I caught two good fish on a buzzbait and one on a wacky rig. I missed another what seemed like a good fish based on the splash(but who knows) With the warmer temperatures earlier in the morning now it seems that once that sun comes up the fish become few and far between, I beleive I might be better off fishing in the dark right up to daybreak. I could then sleep for another two hours prior to work. Opinions? Fish should be feeding more during this time anyway right? (Wow, this sounds "Al-Esque") Randy- |

Bob... some people like me only receive in plain text. I set my readers up
to do that to prevent alot of the porn spam from showing their graphics when I check my mail. It's kind of embarassing and definately inappropriate for the kids to see some of this stuff. For my money, the morning twilight is the period of the day in which a
truly outstanding catch is most likely. I like fishing deep and catch more fish all day long than at the morning twilight, but you can't really compare a period that lasts only 10 to 20 minutes to the next 12 hours. Few anglers appreciate the morning twilight because so few ever experience it. To fish it, you have to fish overnight and stay late, or launch in the dark and find your way to your best spot before the eastern horizon begins to glow. Most 'early' fishermen are still on the way to the lake. Most night fishermen have already left the lake. I'm out there by myself. My preference for a 3 hour period within your time slot would be 5AM to 8AM. If I MUST choose one of yours, I'll take the latter. I love night fishing -- maybe twice a year. I love daytime fishing much more. But I hate not starting as early as possible. That's one of the biggest reasons I gave up tournaments. I hate sitting there waiting till someone else tells me I can go fishing. RichZ© www.richz.com/fishing |

Bob,
I don't think HTML has any business on usenet. That being said, it's my choice, so I use a news reader that understand html only enough to strip it the hell out of messages and give me straight ascii. RichZ© www.richz.com/fishing |
