ot converting bow mounted trolling motor

I have a 33lb MK Maxxum transom mount on my square end canoe. I know you
can unbolt the head, spin it 180 degrees & convert it to bow mount. Any
chance yours was a transom mount that someone turned the head around on?

If you think your Pond Prowler is difficult to steer with a bow mount,

It was a transom mount when I bought it new. I was just replying to Steves
post about pushing instead of pulling.

You can. I called Minn Kota. Just take out the screw, turn it 180 and
screw it back in. Be careful not to cut any wires. Of course, now with all
this good advise on using the bow mount, I may just leave it and try some of
these suggestions. Thanks everybody.
