Default Fall back methods.....

Inside a condemed building, down in the basement, next to a filing cabinet
in a room behind a locked door with a sign on it saying "beware of the
tiger". Not too many visitors and haven't had the keys to let myself out.
LOL

Anything good been going on here. has "It" left?

You replied to it in the drop shot message. See what happens when you
aren't here to pay attention when it changes clothes?

I personally would also stay in the same area I am confident in and get a
lot tighter to cover and almost leave the bait motionless for periods at a
time. If you only need one more fish, you should be able to coax another
fish using that method. I have been catching more and more fish leaving my
bait sit for up to 30 seconds at a shot motionless.

OK lets say you're in a tourney and you've got 4 bass in the box. A
front has blown thru and shut the bass bite down. Your method of
catching fish is no longer working. You still need the all important 5th
fish, what method do you use when it gets tough? I actually use 2, I
either resort to a split-shot rig or I'll rig up a finesse worm on a
jighead and go to the bridge pilings(gotta think vertical).
