Yeah I know Tim, you ain't never had any bull**** battles on ROFF
yourself, eh?

Probably at one time, but it's been a while and I don't want to start
another trend now. Enjoy tilting at windmills.

And here I thought you were one of Wolfgang's accolytes.

Look, Pete, I don't know where you came from, but I don't do stalkers. Get a
life and google up a girlfriend or something.

And stop blabbing to everyone about the secret spot.

Do you really think the secret spot is a secret? I was there on New Year's
day a couple years ago and there were 15 people in the pool. Everybody I
know who flyfishes in Massachusetts fishes at the secret spot.

Petee, I think your chain is being yanked. Most of the folks here are
intelligent enough to know that there aren't any "secret spots" left, in
Mass. anyway.

Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner!

See Pete, the reason we call it the "secret spot" is precisely because everyone
in southern New England has fished it at one time or another. In other words
it's a joke! If you develop a sense of humor, I'll show you another secret spot
north of route 9. (But I'll have to blindfold you on the way up, so you can't
find your way back there again. {;-)

Where I came from? You talked to me at the *secret spot* three days ago.
I'm the guy who was catching fish while you weren't. I'm also *not* the guy
who lives in Ludlow with the same name in case you're checking your phone
book.

And by the way, I found you using Google. I found your thread where you
brought all of your out-of-town buddies to the *secret spot* a few weeks
ago.

Impossible! (George - is that you?)

The only reason I use phone books is to rip them in half for sport. Besides, I'm
not a stalker, so it didn't occur to me to look you up.

Then you must have also seen that all of them already knew about the secret
spot, right?

Tim: I doubt this is the guy, but my friend Lee said he spoke to you the
other day. Tall older gentleman. Said he spoke to a tallish hairy guy who
wasn't catching anything.

Yeah, I remember Lee - bastid! Actually, a very nice guy who caught the one
small fish I saw caught that day, on a Hornburg nonetheless. George was down in
the run closest to the lot and said he pulled out a few small fish from there. I
caught NUTHIN' except a sore back. I guess that's why they call it fis. .
.. . uh, you know.

My best guess is that Pete Lee, because, from what I heard, Lee has been
fishing there for a long time and would know to keep the area a secret. Pete
appears to be a blabber mouth with no respect for the essence of fly fishing.
Also, Lee didn't appear to be the type to use "dude" in proper sentence
structure like "Dude? Dude!"
