Larry, you musta missed the discussions from a couple of years ago. The
authority on the subject hath proclaimed that there is no dry fly fishing in
the West after Labor Day. Sorry about that, but you still have a few days
left. Hope you like numphs and streamers.

The best time to fish in the Rocky Mountain West, IMO, is after Labor
Day because the crowds are gone. For example, Silver Creek and the
Owyhee have good mahogany dun hatches in September and October, and
they're deserted compared to the summer.
