writes If you want a buzzer that really floats - a suspender buzzer, just tie in a few bits of C-D-C at the eye to make it float. A small ball of booby foam works too. :-) How do you attach it though? Suggestion! Wrap the little polystyrene ball on a piece of condom. It makes the bead waterproof. Much better than the old idea of nylon stocking. -- Bill Grey http://www.billboy.co.uk |

I use them for shell-backs on scuds. |

Condoms are too expensive for that. Get a box of latex gloves at the local
drug store and use them. You'll have a lifetime supply. I use them for shell-backs on scuds. They are also good for wrapping nymph bodies. But they are very difficlut to cut into NEAT strips. I've read that the trick is to wrap them into a roll, and then slice off pieces, like slicing salami. Doesn't work for me. Anoyne know a good trick that really works? vince |

Once stretched a little, the latex does tend to even out in the width. |

vince Go to your local fabric store and find a roller cutter (looks like a pizza cutter) and the mat that goes with it. Just the small mat will do. Also, look for the clear template/rulers that quilters use. You can get the set up for about 15 bucks. These roller cutters are the perfect thing for cutting latex and any fabric you get. Thing is awesome. Perfectly straight strips as long as your material is long. By the way, have the cute young thang in the store (or Wolfgang), teach you how to use it. They're glad to help. -- Frank Reid Reverse email to reply |
