Just back from 2 days and a night on Dungie. All small whiting and even smaller bass. A couple of Chinese there put everything they caught into 2 buckets and away thay went.. HM Customs are patrolling the water just off shore and landing occasionaly for a look see. Must keep out the illegals or our "licence fees" will be wasted on them.. A small local trawler went by and back about 200 yds off the shore. No wonder there are no reasonable fish about. Is it legal to trawl that close in? Has the skipper bought a licence? I fear not because boat licences were free and they only have a value when skippers / owners sell them on. Also my appologies for the typos re the perv K |
