![]() Joe McIntosh wrote: QUESTION ONE-- How do I get my bride to give up tennis five days a week with friends in Wilmington and easy acess to US bound family? hmm...sounds more like a reason to go than to stay. perhaps a few of your "close" friends could assist in persuading Dene of the substantial benefits of residence in New Zealand. g also, knowing Dene, she'll have numerous friends and plenty of tennis opportunities in a more favorable and enjoyable climate than Wilmington - without all the bulging population and traffic problems. Didigal camera--now that prices are under 200$ thinking of replacing my sinkable OLYMPUS --would like to have micro option to use copying pages from books etc ant to take pictures when Jeff cathes a fish--Dave Lewis the camera whiz on FF@ suggest the new 5 mb olumpis--help and suggestions needed 5 MB is probably overkill for use on the stream unless you're planning on printing poster size photos - and I don't think the 5 MB cameras are below 200 yet (though there may be some). I have the Olympus 300, water resistant. It's fine for most uses, but the controls on the back are a bit tiny. Invest in a bigger memory card than you typically get with the camera - a 64k at minimum, 128k is better - so you can take and store more pictures on those long trips when you are unable to download the photos to a computer. Questin Three-- What is a REAL indian ???? Goverment has a rule--creek indian association has a rule---census bureau has a rule ---was thinking of answering Font when he said I was not a real indian but was reminded of a boss many years ago when i tried to get some attention by verbulizations--he said " I would not lower myself by arguring with you." You've indicated you have some part indian ancestry and, from my personal observation and experience, you are most definitely real. good enough for me and probably most others of reasonable or normal disposition. |

Well, I dunno about reasonable or normal disposition, but as far as I'm concerned anyone that's as quick a study on the ol' peace pipe can call himself Injun anytime! /daytripper (he made some BIG damned clouds, too ;-) |

I'm not apologizing for anyone - god knows if I was to apologize for everyone that uses racial slurs it'd be more than a full time job. But, in truth, I don't remember hearing IJ speak disparagingly about anyone, "impolite" vernacular notwithstanding... /daytripper (just calling it as I sees it. tioli...) |

Well, the 'N' word and the 'S' word are both disparaging enough for me, "vernacular" notwithstanding. I think the so-called "Indian Joe" is a full of **** piece of ****. You can reasonably disagree with piece of ****, but if you're really calling it as you see it, I don't know how you could honestly disagree with full of ****. And yeah, take it or leave it. -- Ken Fortenberry |
