Diawa Capricorn spinning reel
The only So which one is the one that beat out the Stradic in some of the
reviews released earlier this year? I bought a 1500 a few days ago, but it doesn't have an "A" after it. Maybe I'll take it back for the Stradic. I have two already and I like them just fine. K The only head-to-head comparision I've seen between the Capricorn and the Stradic was done by Tackletour.com. They compared original version of the Capricorn (CA2500) to a Shimano Stradic. The results of that comparision were extremely close and can be viewed at url below. The problem I have with this review, and many others by tackletour, is that they do not compare identical models of reels. In this comparision they used a 2500 size Daiwa vs. a 2000 size Shimano.
