I agree.... I had no problems with it when it first hit the market.
"Jeff Durham" wrote in message ... Sounds like there may be some quality control problems recently. Jeff "Illinois Fisherman" wrote in message ... I had 50lb snap just casting muskie plugs. Happened twice about 10 minutes apart on the same morning. Line snapped about 1 inch above the knot both times. Switched to my rod with power pro 30lb. No problem with the same lure. I was very disappointed in it. "Steve" wrote in message news:Up61d.423890$%_6.41898@attbi_s01... I tried the new Stren recently and was at first very impressed with the way it felt, cast, and spooled. However, I quickly found that it breaks off easier than the PowerPro that I'm accustomed to. Has anyone else had a similar experience? |
