Default Pickwick Lake

I'm going to Pickwick lake the first weekend in Oct and I'm a little lost.
I've heard the lake is tough and you'll have to make a run from Florence to
just about anywhere to find decent fishing. anybody who may have some help
on what or where to at least get started would be deeply appreciated.

Try starting below Wilson dam droppping live shad along the rock outcroppings
and rock piles. These places are really good for smallies and there are some
good smallies in Pickwick.
