![]() "Ken Fortenberry" wrote in message om... I don't recall ever perpetuating a falsehood about you Dan'l, but if you can come up with one ....... [snip] -- Ken Fortenberry Well, let's go back...way back... in the dark, deep mists of time and recall these, for example..... "As for having good dry fly fishing on the Henry's Fork that week, that's as big a lie as the whopper you and Willi keep repeating about me." Untrue..I caught more fish on dries at the HF clave than I have at several other claves. You don't know. You weren't there. "Still bitter about the only 'Clave in roff history noted for its lack of camaraderie and good fishing" Untrue an untrue. Never was, never will be bitter. Absolutely nothing to be bitter about. It was a great clave and I enjoyed it immensely. Also, there have been other claves with more whining about "lack of camaraderie" than the HF. Consider Black Cat (or some such personage) and the whining about the first SJ Clave. Also the whining about the Ennis clave and the lack of social participation by some folks from NC. Also, there were a couple of louts that were/weren't...did/didn't kick each other's ass at a SJ Clave...great camaraderie that. And those are just three examples from yesterday. Danl |
