All those other guys may indulge in juvenile name-calling
but my name-calling is inspired, devastating, razor sharp
and overwhelmingly effective. No juvenile could ever hope
to reach the lofty level of the name-calling craft that I
have achieved through many years of diligent and unstinting
hard labor. Juvenile name-calling, indeed. Harumph, sir.
Harumph.

The macho **** ? That's an overreaction to the umpteenth
repetition of an offensive woof by the putz. Sometimes I
just get sick and ****ing tired of it.

The way I figure it is that there are enough assholes in "real" life
that it serves no purpose to come here to "escape" only to alienate the
folks with whom I share a common bond.

Has someone alienated you ? Does that mean you have to have
green card now ? ;-)

I can understand that, but it just comes across as ... well, silly.
Of course I think that much of what passes for "macho" posturing is
pretty silly, and I get to see plenty of it down here in Taxsuss.

It's just that there's something really incongruent about it coming
from guys whose idea of a pastime is standing in cold water waving
graphite sticks with fur and feathers attached to a line to try to fool
a fish (which they will likely put back in the water anyway). :-) (Why
am I reminded of that pic that Willi just posted?)

SWMBO is the one with the green card. :-)

Just for clarification, what is it about RW that you don't like? For a
couple of years now you have been insulting him for moving to Idaho, etc
and I just don't understand why that (or whatever it is) makes you so
angry. I've met RW, fished with him several times, stayed at his house,
he has stayed at mine, we have drank a lot of beer and whiskey together
and I have issues with him when it comes to politics. Given all of
that, I have *NEVER* doubted him as being a kind, decent, honest,
trustworthy and damn fine individual. Care to clarify your position?

Again? Ok, sure...I don't KNOW the individual, the person, of whom you
speak, so I don't like, dislike, or feel otherwise about him _in the
"real" world_. And nothing about him, the online person (or "anyone"
else on ROFF), makes me angry, because it's not real. And since I don't
know the real person, I have no idea if he would make me angry or not,
but I suspect that he is probably and at least, a decent enough guy.

TC,
R
