SNIP
They claim they strongly support local tackle shops and their dealer network and pledge to NEVER sell to BPS and the X-Marts. That's very strange considering the fact that the local BPS in Auburn Hill, Mi. sells both the Yamamoto and the Kanami brand. "Marty" wrote in message ... "Christopher P. Cericola" wrote in message groups.com... "Marty" wrote in message ... Don't blame BPS; GYCB won't sell to them unless the package says Kinami. Why's that? I know I saw Kinami worms before at walmart..looked a lot like senkos but was confused by the other name even though they had Yamamoto Enterprises on the package. They claim they strongly support local tackle shops and their dealer network and pledge to NEVER sell to BPS and the X-Marts. However, they sell to Cabela's and large sporting goods chains. With Gary's son's Kinami line which is sold by BPS and the "Marts", I believe they're talking out of both sides of their mouth, i.e., they can say they don't sell GYCB products to them, except they DO sell to them under the Kinami label. At least that's one cynic's take on the situation. |
