Default Off-season fly fishing sales?

Anyone know of any good annual off-season fly fishing sales? (Not
local, of course, unless it's something that could be accessed via
internet.) Got some boots, reels, etc. that need replacing...

Thanks, Tim

Petah Charles normally has his Fall clean out on Ebay at this time of
year. Sells more equipment than is contained in many small shops.

Tis the season, or shall we say end of season, where the discontinued
stff get put on sale.

I got the Orvis email this week for their fly fishing sale
www.orvis.com which promised up to 50% off (I didn't look to see what
was on sale), walt at www.ezflyfish.com has closeouts, www.cortland.com
has closeouts and probably every other fly shop that has a website is
going to have some closeouts. Happy shopping.

Every year in September after the Denver fly tackle dealer show they send us
updates on what is discontinued for 2005.

There is lots of stuff on close-out every Fall.

You might check with www.feather-craft.com, they e-mailed all their fly rod
clearance items last week and just e-mailed the fly reel clearance stuff
today.

I have had good luck with them on the few items I have ordered.

JT
