If they have spools of the line to put on other's reels, they might sell you a spool. That's how I get my PowerPro in bulk. -- Steve @ OutdoorFrontiers http://www.outdoorfrontiers.com G & S Guide Service and Custom Rods http://www.herefishyfishy.com |

... Any one know where I can get bulk spools (2500 yrd) of spider line super mono xxx When I was still enamored with Super Mono XX I looked on the usual sites like Bass Por and Cabelas. I don't recall finding any bulk spools. Now I am glad I did not. I found horrible knot strength with those I tired. Carefully wetted Trilene knots and palomar knots both broke easily. Since then I have started experimenting with other lines. I have several reeels with P-Line Flouro Clear and several others with Seaguar. I also spooled a couple with Stren's sim9ilar line. All have survived a couple outings. The only thing going for the Super Mono was the small diameter, but with the poor knot strength I figured I might as well have just used a lighter strength line. -- Bob La Londe www.YumaBassMan.com All about fishing in Yuma, Arizona Promote Your Fishing Website FOR FREE |
