Morell, they're cheap, light, float and work well. I like to save as much
weight as possible in my vest. A light vest is much more comfortable
than a heavy one.

I have several Aquafly and really like them, but they are bulky for what
they hold. I am also a buddy of the guy who makes them so am a bit biased.

I think the C&F boxes are the best on the market these days but don't own
any as I have more flyboxes than I will ever need and am too tight to spring
for them.

I like the C&F design too. There was an article last year in a fly
fishing mag. Sorry but I don't remember which one. They discussed
about 10 or so different boxes. They liked the C&F too. You can get
extra pads for them. I plan on getting some extra pads for specific
types of fishing, say bass/blue gill fishing. They pop in and out
easily. I have two boxes and plan to get one more.

The compartment boxes mentioned in this thread DO hold a lot of flies
and I tried them but it seems the fly that I wanted was always on the
bottom of the bunch.
