Default Breaking Rods

The only problem I've had with St. Croix Rods ( and the reason I dumped them
all) was that the reel seat would not retain my Curados. Apparently this was
a well known design problem as I had several fishermen write to me to tell
me they had the same prob. When I contacted St. Croix they gave me a ration
of crap about it. Tossed 8 of em into the garbage and bought Loomis rods.
Never had eyelets pop out though.
