I noticed that Google once again has shunned the veterans. They do other
holidays/rememberances, but refuse to recognize Veterans (Armistice) Day.

In the US we honor dead US veterans on Memorial Day, nee Decoration Day, the last Monday in May. Armistice Day was changed to Veterans Day to honor all US veterans living and dead. -- Ken Fortenberry
