Okuma Avenger AV20

Haven't tried the Okuma rods, but the AV-20 is one sweet reel!

I ordered a rod from Steve to put mine on... can't wait to get it!

you can buy the Okuma reels at Dick's sporting goods stores

I'm the one that posted about the AV-20's. I like them so much I put my
Shimano Sahara's on the shelf. I have no idea how much Dick's sells them
for, but I've ordered quite a few from Digitaldagger and I've never had a
problem with dealing with them.

I'm pretty sold on the reel at this point. Just trying to figure out a rod to
put it on at this point. I'm a poor college student so I'm on a budget. This
rod will probably be my all purpose one, IE it stays in the car, and I use it
to fish places on the way home from school/work...
about 50 bucks is my max for the rod.

looking at digital dagger..they have the Okuma rods....ever used them? They
seem to run pretty cheap, and if theyre anywhere as nice as the okuma reels
Ive seen......

For 50.00 - go to Wal-Mart and pick up a Berkley Bionic - Light weight but
will do the job.
