Allen "Rob" wrote in message . com... I live in San Diego. Here they stock channel cat fish in the lakes. I never was lucky enough to catch a cat fish. I will appreciate if someone would give me some hints how can I catch a cat fish. Thanks. I never caught any Channel cats on any stinky baits. I had the best luck on Live bait. worms and crawdads were best for me. baby mice and minnows worked good too Caught 2 channel cats on cut fish bait (herring but any oily fish will do) one 12 lbs and one 10 lbs. I agree channels dont seem to be so crazy about the stinkiness of baits. |
