A device that has a flag that pops up to alert you that a fish has taken the bait? Here in Wisconsin, we're allowed 3 lines, so it's legal, and done all the time, to set out two tip ups and jig with a short jigging rod. What would you like to know about jigging rods? Other than the fact that they're a riot to use. -- Steve @ OutdoorFrontiers http://www.outdoorfrontiers.com G & S Guide Service and Custom Rods http://www.herefishyfishy.com |

Just so happens I am down to 4 traps, so I have a good excuse to buy a jig. And by 'riot to use' I assume you mean fun? LoL I'm guessing it's more efficient than a trap. Many times by the time you get to a trap the fish has taken a ton of line and/or has swallowed the bait. |
