Default Type of battery for trolling motor

Craig, without a doubt the best batteries I ever had in my boat are Optimax.
I know they cost a ton (upwards of $160 each ) but for strength and
durability they get my vote. This past year some bozo talked me into a name
brand that was on sale at Sam's Club. Don't get me wrong they're ok. But I
could and have fished three days with a fully loaded 18' 6" Champion with
those batteries and they never slowed down till the middle of that third
day. When sprring time comes along, I'm replacing the new ones.
