I talked to a guy in Western Wyoming yesterday about a camper I am
interested in. He said was snowing giant flakes, and was beautiful
weather. How can you live like that?

Alcohol. Plus the gorgeous summers make up for it.

Amen to that!

It's corny and cliched, but as most cliches are, it's true...you can't
appreciate a nice summer unless you've lived through a brutal winter.
Something the boys down south will never get.

Btw, Steve, my Dad has used the saying 'Here, fishy, fishy, fishy" as
long as I can remember...with varying results LoL

Well, the almond trees are in bloom, one of my peach trees is almost solid
pink, and the apricot tree is just breaking buds. Plum tree is white. And
the rain and cold is keeping the bees from their appointed rounds. We get
spring here a couple of months ahead of the midwest and Northern states.

Well, I can see the tar in my driveway and the ice floes in the bay are
down to the size of a Beetle! LoL

I live in Texas, and I COULD appreciate a nice summer if we ever got
one, but 100+ degrees and humid is not my idea of nice! All you
northerners might appreciate a nice winter if you lived through a brutal
summer.

The grass is always greener, huh? LoL I would kill for a month or 2 of
wx like that. We get, at best, a week, maybe 2 of high temps in July or
August and like clockwork someone always whines. I always tell them
"Shut up! We'll be shoveling snow in 3 months!"

I hear that, one of the reasons I won't move, especially from the mountains
here. I have not had to use an air conditioner since I have been up here.
Summer is just perfect as could be.
