Hi, I have a Coleman dual mantle lamp that after about two nights use seems
to block up. I keep dismantling cleaning and blasting the tube with 60psi from an air line, this gets it going for another couple of nights. If anyone has had success in restoring lamp performance, I would appreciate any tips. Many thanks Neil |

As you say the jets are very fine and I need to find a way to properly clear any obstruction. Thanks Neil |

I dont want to teach my granny to suck eggs but are you blowing the jet out in the opposite direction to that in which the fuel flows? If not try it. Keith M "BrianR" wrote in message ... Are you using straight petrol?
dont know about the lamps, but in UK the coleman cookers need unleaded petrol with redex added. Without the reddex the cookers are a bitch; but they are unbeatable when the additive is there. (Coleman are from USA so I wonder if their 'gas' is different to our petrol??). I think this may be your problem - certainly worth trying. I put 20 drops into a gallon of unleaded. you can buy reddex in a 'single shot' bottle; costs under £2 at halfords, and lasts for ages. regards, Ian "Neil" wrote in message ...
