Steve
Since you obviously want reactions . . . . Heres my reading from your
description of events: I wouldn't get near you with a 10 foot pole. You
appear to break and abuse what you touch. And you blame your **** on others.

You are obviously someone NOT to sell anything to. My guess is that you pull
the same bull**** with others unfortunate enough to sell you anything, loan
you anything or get anywhere close to you. Im always surprised that folks
like you survive. Congratulations.

Dave

No Steve, the guy isn't trying to do anything "behind your back". He's
just trying to answer some questions, and protect his reputation. I
think I told you back then, you came close to slander, and you owed him
an apology. You're lucky he did not pursue it any further. I seriously
doubt he's done anything, since this all came to a head.

Why post here about it? AFAICT, none of the combatants frequent this group.

Let it go....give it up. You're only hurting yourself.

Yeah. I didn't Google it, but it was weird enough to remember. The
facts of the damage were all different back then, as was the cause the
owner of the shop supposedly gave you for the damage.

Unless you're not the guy who claimed he got the waders in trade for
doing some work for the owner of the shop? But you certainly sound /
type like him.

No telling what Steve was up to back then. He was trolling around here
for a while, under an alias. He's sent a vulgar(even by ROFF
standards)email to a woman, at another discussion group. That got him
band from the board. He's since posted under a new address, but that
went badly(to put it mildly)for him too. Just when I start to feel bad
for him, he does something like post what he did here.

I've received that email from the fly shop, and i've seen the pictures
of the waders in question. I doubt anyone, with any sense, would say
these waders were defective, or should be covered under warranty. The
rest of Steve's history with this fly shop, and his own actions on
several boards, just bolsters the fly shops assertions.

It's never Steve's fault. Shame on us!

brians,....well not you specifically, but us in general. :-)

No problem, MS/NO sounds real good right about now. They won't come August
but that's what Michigan is for
