Hi any suggestions on a spinnerbait that works with a steady slow retrieve? Blade style size color? The avg size I catch is 13"-14" I use 9' light rod with 8lb PP so want to use a smallish spinnerbait I bought this Culprit one but the blade doesnt spin at all at slow speed.http://www.culpritstore.com/catalog/...ath=125&produc... Though when I give it a jerk the blade spins well. Lastly is Culprit a good brand? Thanks Ray For slow retreive stick with Colorado blades unless you want to go real deep. They spin better at slow speeds. The best I have found for really slow retreive is the Sidearm from Secret Weapon. I agree with the second post - it will move slower with good action than any other I have tried. Hard to fish it deep though, it has a lot of lift. Ronnie http://fishing.about.com |
