Slow retrieve/low gear ration reels?
Winter fishing is here, and I ALWAYS retrieve much too fast. I can't seem to
stop after 55 + years of doing it. Is there a slow retrieve/low gear ratio baitcasting reel that is of decent quality, in a price range around $150.00 or less? Shimano ( my first choice) doesn't seem to offer one, in either round or low profile. If one can't be found, is there a decent quality spinning reel that would be around 4/1 or less?
