I spoke with Rudy this evening. As of the moment, there is a 2 man cabin
and the old #1 Cabin, which holds 4 comfortably still not spoken for on
Clave week. Also available, at last notice, was the large apartment over
Bruce Fisher's shop in Millmont. It will hold up to 6 easily.
Anyone wishing to book space in either location should email me as soon as
possible. Dates for clave/rentals is the week from Sun. May 18-Sun. May
25(I am departing Monday AM). Hemlock Acres has plenty of tent and RV
space, as well.

Trip may be in jeopardy for me this year. I have a choice of going to
Northern California for work mid week, and would most likely take some extra
days around that to take in the area. I have never been there before.

Not sure what to do...

about time you surfaced. where in "northern" california? there's a lot
of "north" in that place. i was hoping to see you at penns this year,
but if you have an opportunity to see some of the real country and
seashore of calif, i'll accept the snub. not sure when i'm going or
where i'll be staying at penns yet...but i've missed visiting the bug
factory.

Jeff, I think there is still room with Joel, plus the older cabin Joel used
to rent was still available at last notice.
I hope to see you, and Op and anyone else from the Carolina Crew! Wayno, are
you out there??g.

Mr. Makela, it will be a shame, and damned near not right somehow if you
miss the annual Penn's Fest. Heck, you've been attending before the word
Clave was even uttered. Heck, we've been spending late May in Penn's Valley
since we were both up to 6 16-hour fishing days in a row before we
collapsed!! I know, I know, you are a slave to Quest's bidding and all, but
have some perspective, man! This is Penn's, for gawdsake!

I'll be a no show, as usual :~^ (

My brand new Element took a hit today from a rock. I gotta replace the
windshield--paying outta pocket, insurance deductible and all that ya know.
Money seems to be a bit tighter than before. Classes as well are keepin' me
busy.

Hell, I'm even thinkin' of applyin' to a doctoral program, once I finish
this program. Not likely I'll get accepted, but a man has gotta go for the
gusto, I guess?

Y'all have fun and drink a beer and catch some trout for me!

Op

Your bed is saved. Don't know the cost yet. I'm arriving on Sun. the
18th
and departing Thurs. the 22nd. I think Dave is thinking of the same
dates.
Don't see why you shouldn't be able to stay till the 23rd. Looking
forward to seeing you buddy.

Will be there memorial day weekend, not sure exactly whether it will be
Friday, or Saturday. They've actually changed the itinerary to Las Vegas,
and for the full week, so it will depend on when I catch a flight back. May
actually make it through the following week if the planets align, but still
wishful thinking right now. If you are going to make up, try to hang in
through Memorial Day weekend.

Mike
