------news snip---------------------
The crew of a U.S.-flagged freighter has regained control of the ship
from
pirates who seized it off Somalia's coast, but its captain is being
held hostage,
the freighter's second officer said. Ken Quinn said his sailors were
trying to
hold the pirates off for a few more hours, "and then we'll have a
warship here
to help." The destroyer USS Bainbridge is headed to the area to
assist, the

the USA bows to no country...

-------------------snip-------------------------

The White House is denying that the president bowed to King Abdullah
of Saudi
Arabia at a G-20 meeting in London, a scene that drew criticism on the
right and
praise from some Arab outlets.

"It wasn't a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he's taller
than King
Abdullah," said an Obama aide, who spoke on the condition of
anonymity.

The Washington Times called the alleged bow a "shocking display of
fealty to
a foreign potentate" and said it violated centuries of American
tradition of not
deferring to royalty. The Weekly Standard, meanwhile, noted that
American
protocol apparently rules out bowing, or at least it reportedly did on
the occasion
of a Clinton "near-bow" to the emperor of Japan.

Interestingly, a columnist in the Saudi-backed Arabic paper Asharq
Alawsat also
took the gesture as a bow and appreciated the move.

All of which, taken as a whole and scrutinized in detail, makes one
wonder.....what does it actually feel like to be stupider than both
kennnies, davie, the predator, and the diminutive member combined?

who, in truth, couldn't care less.....but knows that some are too shy
to ask for themselves.

Regarless what you, beancounter, the midget in wisconson, or any
newspaper says, it was a bow. WH says he grasped both of the king's
hands and therefore it looks like a bow. Mmmmmm. You can see on the
films (from two angles) that the president's left hand comes up from
his side *after* the bow to grasp the king's hand . When he bowed,
his left hand was at his side.

He didn't bow to the Queen of England, yet bows to this misogynist
pig? Your slip is showing, David.

Terrible, terrible business. No good came come of this. It is indeed
the culmination of the complete erosion of American diplomacy which
commenced way back a couple of months ago. A once proud nation has
been utterly and irrevocable
humiliated.....unless.....unless......Well, there's only one way out.
Now, who are we gonna find that's willing to do the right thing?
Where are we to search for someone man enough and willing to suck it
up, take the bit in his teeth, bite the bullet, and do what a man's
gotta do? Where, I ask, are we to look for someone who will slit a
nephew's throat and throw a few thousand dead Murrican soldiers on top
of him to form a levy to stem the tide of this latest flood
of......of......um......well, whatever it is that is now flooding in
and destroying our hallowed freedoms and our cherished way of life?
Where is the pride and the fortitude that nourished and sustained our
sainted forefathers and led them down the paths of righteousness, now
in our darkest hour? What has become of the manly passion that once
enflamed the hearts of true men and led them to blessed acts of
sacrifice? Why will no one step forward and make at least a minimal
show of patriotism by hosting a nice little picnic lynching or a witch
burning? I mean, it's not like there's a shortage of youthful
fodder.....right? SOMEBODY out there MUST have a nephew......right?

g.
who knows that we got morons to burn.....enough to make fears of fuel
shortages for the foreseeable future a slapstick comedy.
