I saw an interview with Gene Autry once. He would say anything bad
about John Wayne but the interviewer ask him why he didn't make more
war movies like John Wayne. He said there was only one thing a man
could do, if he didn't he would have to "shave in the dark the rest of
his life". Autry was a pilot and flew the hump, passing up the big
bucks for a few years.

Well, you did spark some conversation, so John Wayne was as good as any.

Missed ya at Penn's, it wasn't the same. Fished that section of Elk we
fished with Mike Shaw, did very well.
