Catskills

Was up in Roscoe for Labor Day weekend. Previous rains had water
levels extremely high. Lots of roads had been washed away according to
the paper. Not a (fish) bite between the wife and I. We use the family
cabin in Livingston Manor. No power, but there is a fresh water
spring. It's like camping, but with a bed, table, porch, wood-burning
stove, out-house. Well, maybe it's not quite like camping. The
comforts of home combined with the discomforts of camping.

The plan is to leave Tuesday for the Beaverkill but if the conditions
are bad I could fish elsewhere.
