Just 3 days away from my bi-annual trek to the Beaverkill from
Virginia. I'm hoping the river is going to be back to somewhat normal
levels by friday a.m. Has anyone a stream report for the area?
Camping outside of Cooks Falls, fishing downstream about 3 miles.
Bill in Va.

That's too bad. Nice group of folks running Twin Islands. Good fishing
there too. Highly recommend that campground, especially when above water!

Where in VA are you. I'm in Lynchburg, and used to know a Bill McDonald here
that moved away. Same guy?

Fished there this week end, staying at Roscoe campgrounds. Evacuated the camp
site at 3 AM. Lost my tent and much camping gear. Did manage to get the car
out. Bet Frank Reid can not top this for picking a "wet" camp site.
