Hey Tim:
Let me know when (if) they arrive. They went out of Nairobi, Kenya via 5-day
mail on Monday. That means, with any luck, you ought to get them by the
deadline in December.

Ahh, excellent. Only 6 business days...5 if you disregard Monday. Good to
know that the African mails still work...at least in East Africa.

How many tyers are there? I ran out of hooks right at #20 (in fact, a close
inspection will show that I had to use a couple of wet fly hooks to complete
the batch), otherwise I would have done a few extras. Do me a favor, and if
you spot one or two that look a bit more bedraggled than the rest, don't
send those out. :-)

The odds look pretty good that I'll be in Boston over Valentine's day for
the next job fair. I'll make arrangements to get my flies from you then. Tie
them up pretty, boyos.

I'm hoping still 15. I had one person email that they wanted to cancel,
but I've asked them to reconsider. It's one thing to cancel because of
an emergency issue, quite another just to cancel for a silly reason.
NIMS (Not In My Swap). The way my mama raised me was that a person
should follow through on commitments. I'm sure hoping the rest of your
mamas did as good of a job.

At quick glance, they all looked pretty good to me, but I'll spot check
as I go.

YEHAA! The Valentines Day Mass-occur. Beer and burger time!

Tie them up pretty, boyos.

Yeah - like *that* will happen! ;-)
